Pada Website ini ditampilkan foto-foto berbagai keris khusus Tangguh Madura Tua (Jika ada keris buatan baru tentu akan saya tuliskan sebagai New Keris atau Keris Baru).
Kita telah ketahui bersama bahwa Madura, sebagai pulau yang terpisah dari Jawa, memiliki sejarah dan ragam budaya yang khas. Demikian juga dengan budaya Tosan Aji di sana, memiliki karakteristik tersendiri.
Para mPu Keris juga telah lama hidup dan mengembangkan kreasi seninya di Madura dari jaman dahulu. Hingga sekarang, mPu Keris juga masih eksis dan terus berkreasi. Bukan hanya itu, kreasi seni ukir dari Madura dari jaman dulu hingga sekarang juga dikenal sangat indah. Dan karena itu banyak ukiran keris dari Madura yang digemari masyarakat luas.
Semoga dengan berbagi foto keris, website ini bisa bermanfaat bagi rekan-rekan dalam mempelajari dan menikmati keindahan Tosan Aji dari Madura.

Welcome to the "KERIS MADURA" website.
On this site we display Old Keris from Tangguh Madura with access to a wide range of Indonesian Kerisses.
Madura is a small island on the East Javanese mainland. Although administrated as part of the East Java province, Madura has its own distinguished history and cultures as well as their "Tosan Aji" art works which are distinctive and have their own unique characteristic.
The mPu Keris (Keris makers) have been living and developing their fine art creation in Madura for hundreds of years and continue creating traditional designs.
Madura's hand crafted carving is also well known for its beauty and that is why hand crafted Kerisses from the Madura region are very popular among collectors.
It is our desire to create a website that is informative and display the art form in its natural state, as well as being usefull to anyone who likes to study and enjoy the beauty of "Tosan Aji" from Madura.
